Green clay helps to soothe the skin & draw out any underlying impurities that may have built up in the skin layers from cosmetics/chemicals etc. Sundried clay means that the clay retains all its natural minerals & has not been chemically processed in any way.

How do I know if my skin needs detoxing? Look out for signs of skin inflammation & dry/itchy patches, spots & general lack of skin tone & a congested complexion. Even if your skin is already healthy, a clay mask will help to maintain freshness, toning the skin & drawing out any environmental pollutants.

Directions for use -

• Take 1/2 teaspoon of green clay & add 2 tablespoons of rosewater. Blend together to achieve a creamy clay mask. (Make it up fresh - as much as you need at any one time)
• Apply your clay mask to a clean face. 
• Leave the mask on until the clay begins to dry on your face or starts to feel warm - after about 5-10 mins.
• Remember that if you leave a clay mask on for too long & it will counteract the benefits.
• The clay mask is also wonderful for acne, individual spots & erupting 'danger-zones'. Simply apply the mask to the localised patches, wash after 5 mins & re-apply fresh mask to the area. This will prevent pustule formation & nip nasty pimples in the bud.

Please Note: If your skin is in need of serious TLC, it is not unusual that after applying your first clay mask your skin will feel hot & look inflammed. This is good news as it shows the clay is doing its job pulling out impurities from the skin. Any 'de-tox symptoms' will diminish & disappear completely the more you use the mask. Bathe your face with cool water after use & simply re-apply the clay until your skin establishes a balance.

Storage instructions: please keep the clay out of direct sunlight. Make up the mask as & when you need it. Simply add a little rosewater & blend with some clay to achieve a creamy clay mask.
